Nokia 5: This is an era where almost everything is digital and every kid in town has got a wonder machine in his/her hands. So now let’s take a journey through how Nokia developed all these years from a small phone to a wonder. Nokia is a Finnish company based in the capital city of Helsinki. Nokia Corporations was actually start as a paper mill in the latter half of the 1800’s and then they moved on to other fields also. Then around the 1980’s, Nokia started to enter the electronics sector. Nokia developed the first GSM network in collaboration with Siemens and the Finnish prime minister made the first GSM call in the world using a Nokia device.
Then slowly in 1992, Nokia produced the first commercially available mobile phones. Then Nokia went on to make more successful products that included phones with camera and the first gaming phone. Some of their products were top rank ones during their times. People of this era may not be able to understand their awesomeness in this field. But then they started to produce smartphones and today their products have marvelled us. Nokia played a vital role in the development of Finland’s economy.
Nokia’s main smartphone network was Symbian up until 2011. Then Nokia used Linux for some time and the Nokia X device became Nokia’s last Android device. In 2011, Nokia signed a deal with Microsoft and in the month of October of that same year, Nokia released its first Windows 7 device called the Lumia series.
But it had only a fall in the shares in the stock market. Then finally, in 2013, Microsoft bought Nokia’s mobile devices for a total deal of around $6.05 billion. Microsoft acquired rights only till December 2015 and so they closed all Nokia phones that were without windows. At the end of the deal, Nokia devices were being produce by Foxconn and HMD in Finland.

In 2017, Nokia planned to release 7 android devices. Among them is the Nokia 5 mobile phone. So let’s take a deeper look into the features of Nokia 5. Nokia 5 is a 5.2 inched touchscreen smartphone with a resolution of 720x 1280 pixels that is powered by Android 7.1.1 version and is made up of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor powered by an inbuilt battery of 3000mAh capacity. The Nokia 5 has a RAM of 2GB with an internal storage of 16GB plus a microSD slot of up to 128GB. The front camera of the Nokia 5 mobile is of 8MP and the rear camera is of 13MP. It is a dual SIM device that is available in various colours including copper, matte black, tempered blue and silver colours. Connectivity options such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G and 4G, USB OTG are available along with a range of sensors.
